Awana Fall Conference

Generally during this time of year, I am spending most weekends at an Awana conference somewhere in Maryland, Pennsylvania or Virginia. This year, because of the simulcast, my schedule is a lot lighter. I was at the a location to participate in the simulcast, which required virtually no prep time on my part, and tomorrow, I will be at the conference in Marietta, PA (Lancaster County).

I enjoy participating in the Awana conferences for several reasons. Here are just a few:

  1. It is a great time of fellowship and networking with other Awana leaders
  2. A time to be refreshed in ministry
  3. Finding out about new things being planned in the region
  4. Finding out what other clubs are doing

As I said, these are just a few reasons. I would love to travel a little further to other conferences, but that has not happened yet.

That is one of the reasons for the web site. To keep that community of Awana leaders and sharing of ideas going throughout the year. So join CommanderBill.net and be a part of this ongoing community, like conference season all year long!

So what do you like most about conference?

If you have not attended, why not?
