One year we had all T&Ters add a ring to a paper chain for every section they completed. At the award ceremony they all marched in carrying the extremely long paper chain to represent their hard work and was a great visual for the parents to see what they accomplished. This could be done with Cubbies and Spark too, but we only did T&T that year. We usually march in to the Awana song and proceed with the Commander saying a few words and introducing each club Director who each say something about their club years highlights, sing club song and hand out their clubs awards. The commander then recognizes all the directors and leaders verbally. For several years we have had David Cain, Juggler for Jesus come and do our entertainment after the award presentations. The kids and adults alike love his acts. He has several different ones he does. His info can be found online. After that, we always head to the fellowship hall for refreshments..which have been donated and made by directors, leaders, and commanders. Usually the church will provide buns ect... Hope that helps.
